Minister for Innovation visits CloudFileSync

The developers of Australia’s only File Sync + Share solution – CloudFileSync – hosted Hon Philip Dalidakis, Victorian Minister for Innovation, at their Richmond office today.

Welcoming the Minister, Regan McKay, founder and Chief Executive Officer said: “We built CloudFileSync to solve the challenges businesses face when employees need to access, share and collaborate on files. Our software works on any phone, tablet, computer or web browser. With CloudFileSync, businesses have full visibility of file sharing and file storage, plus all file storage and sharing is protected with bank level security.

“We are a small startup that has self-funded a team of 5 Melbourne-based developers to build our product. We built CloudFileSync to chase a slice of the $US 98.2 billion global File Sync and Share market*. Since our December 2015 launch our unique business model – which incentivizes resellers with high margins – has attracted resellers across Australia, Europe, North and South America and the Middle East.

“We have also secured partnerships with global businesses including SoftLayer, an IBM company which provides cloud storage space in our storage marketplace.”

“CloudFileSync is an innovative, easy-to-use and accessible IT solution to one of our most common workplace challenges, file-sharing,” said Hon Philip Dalidakis, Victorian Minister for Innovation.

“I’m proud to throw my support behind local startups… who have innovated, worked hard and are making a successful name for themselves in competitive markets across the globe.”

UNIQUE FILE SYNC + SHARE INNOVATIONS

Flexible storage deployment
CloudFileSync provides all the security of cloud file sync and share with the benefit of knowing exactly where your data is stored. You can deploy CloudFileSync on top of your own on-premise storage server or use it to access and share data stored in Australian data centres, ensuring compliance with the Privacy Act, data sovereignty regulations and industry standards.

Sync, share, access and collaborate on files from anywhere, using any device
With CloudFileSync users can access and share files using an Android or iOS (Apple) application or via any web browser. CloudFileSync also runs on users’ computers. CloudFileSync means staff can securely work on any file, from anywhere.

Built for business with strong cybersecurity
Protect business data with bank level encryption, ensuring your files are impossible to open and read while in storage and while being sent to others. Files are also encrypted on each device.
